These colorful and tasty Tomato Basil Mozzarella Canapés are sure to wow at your next party. The best part is they are low carb, too!
Rinse and dry the tomatoes. Slice a small section off one end of each tomato allowing each tomato a flat end to stand on. Stand each tomato up on a cutting board.
Tear the basil into small pieces. These will go on top of each canapé.
Open the mozzarella pearls. Slide a pearl on the end of a toothpick. Next, stack a piece of basil on top of a tomato. Slide the toothpick (with a piece of mozzarella already on it) straight down through the basil and tomato.
Continue this process until all tomatoes are covered with one piece of basil and a mozzarella pearl.
Arrange the canapés on a platter and serve.
