We celebrated my husbands birthday a couple of weeks ago. It was fabulous. We had the whole family over – parents, grandparents and our super sweet nephew. He’s 15 months and cute as a button. It’s so fun to watch babies grow. We were smack in the middle of a Whole30 cycle. I am pretty sure we were on day 18. We put together a fantastic Whole30 brunch for everyone that included this refreshing Orange Mint Raspberry Spritzer.
Mocktails and The Whole30
I know, I know. Only “whole foods” on the Whole30. But this little mocktail is full of fresh mandarin juice and fresh whole fruit. It’s perfect for that once-in-a-while celebratory occasion. The best part – they were delicious and the whole family loved them. So if you need something for a special occasion and want to stay compliant, this is a great choice.
The Execution:
This Orange Mint Raspberry Spritzer is super easy to make. Juice two small/medium mandarin oranges in the bottom of each glass. Fill the glass with ice. Push a couple orange slices down the glass facing out. Add some raspberries and sprigs of mint. Finally, top with San Pellegrino or a similar sparkling water. Garnish with an orange slice, mint and a raspberry on a toothpick and serve immediately.
Your guests will be stunned by how gorgeous this brunch mocktail is and with how tasty it is. It’s perfect for spring and summer. What’s your favorite Whole30 mocktail?
